Tabitha's Story

We rescued Tabitha from some people who were going to kill her, that is very common down here with cats. We knew she was well over a year old, but that did not matter. Within one month, we had her spayed, with her shots, and well settled in to our home. It took awhile for us to break her from table food, but other than that, Tabitha became a sweet, loving, giving furbaby. That was 13 years ago...well, two months ago I noticed that her left bottom nipple was large and red. I called the vet to get as quickly as possible. They did find cancer cell in the teat, but no where else. On June the 3rd, 2010, Tabitha had mammary cancer surgery to that teat and some area around it. The vet believes she has a great outlook. Please donate and for everyone, have you furbabies spayed and neutered BEFORE they are one year old or less. That will help cut down on cancers also and help them to live a long life with you!
