Snook's Story

My neighbor got a puppy for his son. A sweet black lab named Snook. It didn't take long before Snook was banished to live on the lanai, as he was too much to handle. I watched from my window, my heart breaking, as he was left there alone with no interaction. When they said they would give him away we took him. He was so funny, so grateful to be loved, different from any dog I've known-what a personality! He loved the boat, the water, the pool. He loved us and we loved him. Cancer took him from us when he was only five. I never thought that the swollen glands would turn out to be cancer.
To this day I still cry. He was very special, he was our son and we will forever miss him.
