Brandy Leimer's Story

My baby Brandy had a mast cell tumor removed at 8 years old in 2009. So far all her checkups have been o.k. but we watch her carefully.

Brandy is more than special to me. I was widowed suddenly when my first husband died in his sleep after being together 33 years. Brandy was also in mourning as she was with my first husband all day-she was 2 at the time. At night she would cry and I would console her and she would sleep with me to console me. I firmly believe she is the reason I am still here. I have had her since 9 months and I cannot imagine life without her. I am now remarried and have a German Shephard named Sarge who is her best buddy. He is now my baby also. I hope to have Brandy a long time but if not she truly has been a lifesaver in more than one way and taught me more than I could ever say. In addition she is the sweetest dog possible.
