Panda's Story

Panda was healthy until the last 2 months of her life. She started having problems in March, so I took her to the Vet. She had a blood test and was checked out, the Vet determined she was healthy for her age and sent us on our way. On April 2nd I found a growth on her hip, she had chewed on it. The growth healed so I didn't think anything of it. April 23rd I found a mass under her collar, I knew this was not good. We went to the Vet the same day, they weighed her and took a culture of the mass. She had lost 10 pounds in a month. The mass came back malignant. Surgery was scheduled for April 29th, it did not go well. She survived surgery but was having trouble recovering from the anesthesia. I went to see her, Thank goodness I did. I told her how much we loved her and what a great dog she was, she passed away while I was with her. We miss her so much, the house is empty without her. We brought her home and buried her on the hillside, she is resting in peace. I Thank the Lord for giving us the privilege of caring for her. She is always in our hearts, we miss you Panda Doggie.
