Bubbles' Story

My sweet foster dog, Bubbles, died from a very aggressive mouth cancer: squamous cell carcinoma. Despite early detection, the tumor grew and took her life two months after diagnosis. Bubbles obsessively licked her paws, and she was crazy for cigarette & cigar butts. I suspect she lived with a smoker and ingested nicotine from licking her paws. Research has shown that cats develop this type of cancer from 2nd-hand smoke. If you can't quit for yourself, quit smoking for your pet!
