Bear's Story

On Oct 4, 2008 Bear's stomach was swollen and he ended up having an emergency splenectomy. We found out it was cancer, hemangiosarcoma. This is an aggressive cancer in the blood the will form it's own vessels to travel if needed. It forms bleeding tumors in all the vital organs. They gave Bear only 2 months without chemo. We did research and found that the foods we feed our pets and our environment have increase pet cancer, just like in humans. We immediately changed Bear's food and his brothers to Blue Buffalo Organics and we opted to do herbal therapy for Bear. By changing his food and doing herbal therapy Bear had no idea he was sick and spent another happy playful year with us. He lost his fight on October 19, 2009. But we are campaigning in his honor to educate people on how they feed their pets.
