Oscar Percival's Story

Last year, my Oscar was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in his jaw. A dental vet removed half his jaw and we went through over a month of radiation. He was recovering well, swimming, playing, and running. I let myself be talked into chemo just to "do everything you can." He had a bad reaction to the initial dose of chemo and died within days on October 4, 2008. It's almost a year and still feels like yesterday. I have other dogs and I love them all but he was my special Sweetie Pea.
