Sheyanne's Story

Sheyanne was born July 28, 1998 and past on May 22, 2009. Sheyanne was my pride and Joy. Gentle and sweet and an 80lb lap dog. She brought joy to my life and was always there for me when I needed comfort or cheering up. She was a healthy happy dog until the day she past. She got a cough about 3 days before I took her to vet and I just assumed she had a cold. Little did I know it was much more than that. Her x-rays showed she was full of cancer and there was no hope for her. The vet recommended we put her down that day. After crying for an hour at the vet I decided the vet was right as I wanted her to remember her life as happy and fun and not sick and suffering. I never knew much about Canine Cancer but I am learning now that there are so many things that could cause and prevent this disease that most pet owners do not know about. I thank god for the 11 years I had with her as she was the sweetest dog I have ever known.
